Four members of TUBBS sang with Fascinating Rhythm ladies chorus at the Ladies Association of British Barbershop Singers preliminary competition on Saturday 9th April. Members Carly Au, Harriet Freeman, Sophie Lyons and Anna McNicol helped the chorus qualify in first place from the South West region for LABBS convention later in the year, with a medley of Come Fly With Me and Fly Me To The Moon, and the song How Deep Is The Ocean?.

The Great Western Chorus, including six members of TUBBS, secured its record eighth British Association of Barbershop Singers chorus gold medal on Saturday 29th May. TUBBS members Alex de Bruin, Guthrie Freeman, Iain Hallam, Graham Harper, Sam Knight and Jorge Sved helped the 54-strong chorus win against stiff competition, qualifying to represent Britain for the 2011 international barbershop convention in Kansas City, Missouri, with the songs Come Take Your Place In My Heart and All Aboard For Dixieland.
